Job Responsibility
Deliver tailored, person-centred support plans
Help residents build life skills like budgeting, cooking, and managing a home
Guide young people towards independence and positive life outcomes
Recruit, assess and onboard new hosts
Deliver training and ongoing support to ensure high-quality placements
Build strong, collaborative relationships between hosts and young people
Line manage staff and support their development
Work with external agencies to deliver workshops, training and opportunities
Promote the scheme across communities to grow the network of hosts
Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement
Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and best practice at all times
Ensure services remain compliant, safe, and impactful
Requirements
Experience supporting vulnerable young people in housing or similar settings
Strong skills in risk assessment, support planning, and communication
Experience leading or managing others
Knowledge of safeguarding, housing legislation, and tenancy management
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Nice to have
Experience working with volunteers or placement providers
Background in community outreach or partnership working
Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing systems
