Job Description

Trust Housing Association has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care & Support Worker (supporting Older People) to join our team in Pollokshaws, Glasgow City. This is an excellent job opportunity for those who live in and around Glasgow. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £16.05 per hour.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting and mentoring Support staff
  • Managing rotas
  • Identifying training needs
  • Supervision
  • Leading the writing of personal, care & support plans
  • Practical support with the tenant’s daily life including homecare support, personal care and helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle

Requirements

  • Experience in the care sector and working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a commitment to achieve this qualification
  • Basic IT skills
  • Must already hold the legal right to work in the UK

Previous experience is preferred but not essential
