Job Description:

Senior Care & Support Worker (supporting Older People) to join our team at West Lodge Gardens, Alloa. Play a vital role in supporting older and vulnerable adults in their own homes. Working on an alternating 3-week rolling rota.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting and mentoring Support staff
  • Managing rotas
  • Identifying training needs
  • Supervision
  • Leading the writing of personal, care & support plans
  • Practical support with tenant’s daily life including homecare support and personal care
  • Helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle

Requirements:

  • Experience in the care sector and working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a commitment to achieve this qualification
  • Basic IT skills

Nice to have:

Previous experience is preferred but not essential
