They are now seeking a Senior Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant to join their growing team of industry experts based in London, operating within a hybrid working environment (2 days per week in the office). Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients across the built environment, delivering high-quality Health & Safety and CDM consultancy services across a range of schemes. The consultancy operates across multiple sectors, with the H&S / CDM team predominantly supporting projects within the retail, leisure, education, residential, industrial and commercial sectors. This role would suit an ambitious H&S/ CDM professional from either a consultancy or contractor background who is looking for genuine career progression. Job Responsibility
Deliver a range of Health & Safety services to ensure compliance across construction projects
Ensure pre-construction information is prepared, available, and maintained for each project
Prepare Health & Safety files and Construction Phase Plans where required
Carry out site inspections and ensure suitable RAMS are in place
Conduct risk assessments and regular site safety inspections across the project portfolio
Build and strengthen existing client relationships while supporting new business development
Liaise with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, developers, designers, and clients, ensuring they remain informed of relevant safety requirements and legislative changes
Requirements
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
Strong technical understanding of the 2015 CDM Regulations
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
Nice to have
Membership of IOSH, APS, IIRSM, or a similar professional body
Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and the changes impacting the industry
What we offer
Basic salary of £55,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
