Job Description

Senior Head Chef for the Springwood Hotel, leading a brand-new, 250-seat, 65-table à la carte restaurant and defining the culinary identity of a reimagined icon. Part of a massive transformation with five refreshed bars and a complete rebrand.

Job Responsibility

  • Command the kitchen, keeping it running smooth, safe, and profitable
  • Be a key part of the leadership crew, working closely with the Publican and FOH team
  • Share passion, skills, and creativity to grow a high-performing kitchen team
  • Keep the connection between the kitchen and front of house flowing with good vibes and great food every shift
  • Build a kitchen culture from the ground up
  • Navigate a new concept launch
  • Provide elite communication and support across the entire venue
  • Lead a large brigade with absolute authority and pride

Requirements

  • Experience, confidence, and pride to own the kitchen and make it shine
  • Trade cooking qualifications
  • Food safety certifications
  • Ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently (manual handling, lifting stock, kegs, deliveries)
