Job Responsibility

  • Design and develop electronic hardware throughout the full product lifecycle
  • Produce circuit designs, schematic capture and PCB layouts
  • Develop prototypes and support product validation and testing
  • Take designs from prototype through to manufacture
  • Debug, fault-find and resolve hardware issues during development
  • Work closely with manufacturing to ensure successful product handover and production
  • Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the hardware engineering team
  • Support innovative product development in a collaborative engineering environment.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Experienced in Hardware product development
  • Strong background in electronic circuit design and schematic capture
  • Experience in taking products from prototype through to manufacture
  • Highly skilled in PCB layout principles and tools
  • Understanding of hardware debugging and fault finding
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.

Nice to have

Experience with Python, FPGA development, and Compliance testing.
