Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Hands-on Java Developer to join a Tier-1 Global Financial Institution's Fixed Income team. This isn't a "business as usual" role-you will be a key architect in re-engineering a mission-critical trading platform, migrating legacy systems into a cloud-native, microservices architecture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Key architect in re-engineering a mission-critical trading platform
  • Migrating legacy systems into a cloud-native, microservices architecture
  • Work directly with Front-Office trading teams, translating business workflows into high-performance code
  • Supporting a global trading floor while driving long-term cloud modernization

Requirements:

  • Mastery of core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration
  • Deep experience in Fixed Income (Treasuries, Corporate Bonds, Mortgages) and trading protocols like FIX/FpML
  • High proficiency in SQL, Kafka, MQ, and Data Modelling
  • Strong Git skills and experience building unit tests for robust CI/CD pipelines
