Our client, a leading independent financial planning organisation based in the heart of London, is looking for a Senior Risk Manager to join their dedicated team! As a Senior Risk Manager, you will be the backbone of our risk administration team, ensuring efficient delivery of services to both clients and advisers. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing complex processes related to group risk products, including Group Life, Income Protection, and Critical Illness.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for advisers and clients regarding group risk schemes
  • Address queries promptly and professionally, guaranteeing excellent customer service
  • Process new business applications, renewals, and amendments for group risk policies
  • Liaise with insurers to obtain quotations, underwriting decisions, and policy documentation
  • Maintain accurate records in line with FCA and company compliance requirements
  • Ensure all processes adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Assist with audits and compliance checks as required
  • Prepare and maintain reports on scheme performance, renewals, and pipeline activity

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial services administration, specifically within group risk or employee benefits
  • Strong knowledge of Group Risk products and market practises
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and detail-oriented, with a clear focus on high-quality output
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
