Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Production Specialist at Flynn Wright who ensures that creative ideas are executed flawlessly across channels, with a strong focus on high-volume direct mail production. This role bridges concept and final production — supporting the preparation, quality control, and delivery of design assets. You’ll help bring production workflows to life that support personalized direct mail and print programs, while exploring opportunities to streamline processes through tools such as data merging, data mapping, AI-assisted workflows, and InDesign scripting.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the agency’s subject matter expert in direct mail production, including versioning, personalization, variable data, postal regulations, and print specifications
  • Assist in managing complex direct mail campaigns requiring multiple versions, offers, and audience segmentation
  • Translate creative concepts into production-ready work across formats, channels, versions, and sizes. This includes traditional channels like direct mail, mail, billboard, print—and digital channels like email, digital display and other digital/social assets
  • Help maintain production standards, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Ensure files meet postal regulations, print specifications, digital specifications and data integrity requirements
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and help identify solutions that keep projects on schedule
  • Contribute to production components of agency RFP responses
  • Partner with internal teams and external production vendors to support quality and cost-efficient execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of production design experience in an agency, production house, printer or fast-paced marketing environment
  • Experience with direct mail production, versioning, or variable data workflows preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Understanding of print production, prepress, postal requirements, and digital asset preparation
  • Experience with automation, scripting, AI-assisted tools, or production technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
  • Solid organizational and project coordination skills
  • Exercises critical thinking across all job functions and task requests

What we offer

  • Office in the heart of downtown — steps away from art, culture and some of the city’s best spots for coffee, lunch and happy hour
  • Free downtown parking
  • Comprehensive plans for group health, dental, vision and life insurance
  • 401k with company match
  • Plenty of Personal Time Off (PTO), plus paid holidays
  • Potential for bonuses based on success of agency
  • Even more money for Employee Referral Program
  • Extracurriculars that tend to be historic events
