Job Description:

The Senior Graphic Designer role involves leading graphic design projects and strategies, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and creating impactful visual solutions across mediums like reports, websites, and marketing collateral. This is an opportunity to work within a dynamic team serving government and non-government sectors.

Job Responsibility:

Taking ownership of design projects from concept to completion, making strategic design decisions with minimal supervision
leveraging strong B2B experience to translate complex information into compelling and effective visual solutions
managing timelines, resources, and client expectations to deliver exceptional results
contributing to the growth of the organisation through design expertise and potentially bringing own network of clients
designing a variety of materials spanning report design, typesetting, UI/UX principles, WordPress, occasional Shopify updates, real estate floor plans, and marketing collateral
building strong relationships with stakeholders through clear and confident communication
presenting and justifying design decisions in meetings
collaborating with and mentoring a team of 5 designers.

Requirements:

A portfolio showcasing your exceptional design skills and a keen eye for detail
strong B2B experience with a proven track record of delivering impactful visual solutions
excellent communication skills (both spoken and written English) with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively
proven ability to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders
strong problem-solving, project management, and business development acumen
proficiency in report design, typesetting, UI/UX principles, WordPress, and ideally some experience with Shopify
experience with real estate floor plan design and general marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, logos, business cards)
the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and lead the creative process
references from satisfied clients who can attest to your skills and professionalism
a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Design (preferred).

What we offer:

$80,000 - $95,000 per year with flexibility for the perfect candidate
rewards for bringing own book of clients
initially a 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong possibility of permanent position
start date of July 1st, 2025 (or earlier for an exceptional candidate)
