Job Description:

Senior GPPSP Techno Functional SME role at Citi, focusing on managing functional and technical changes for the GPP SP application, liaising with product owners, and working with development teams to promote changes to production.

Job Responsibility:

Manage both functional and technical changes for GPP SP application
Liaise with the Product owners and provide technical solutions for the changes working with Development leads
Review the application changes with the vendor and internal development teams, promote changes to production
Work with the production support team and handle the production issues
Leverage skills across Applications Development area to provide technical oversight across systems and applications
Communicate internal and external departmental interdependence as well as cross product and cross project
Resolve issues using in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within applications development
Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
Contribute to planning, budget management, formulation of procedures, and resource planning negotiating with external parties when necessary
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Requirements:

8-10 years of relevant experience
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects
Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools, and audit/compliance requirements
Extensive knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented design
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Should have sound knowledge in SWIFT MT messages and MX messages
Should have end to end payments processing flow knowledge
Should be able to handle GPP SP configuration changes and able to triage GPP SP issues
Should be able to suggest fixes for performance issues
Should have worked on any end to end implementation of domestic/cross boarder flows in GPP SP / any similar product
