Job Description

Lime is seeking a Senior Government Relations Lead to spearhead our policy and public affairs strategy in Barcelona and contribute to our expansion strategy across Spain. Reporting to our Deputy Regional Head of Government Relations for Iberia, you'll lay the groundwork for Lime’s public affairs presence, driving engagement with policymakers, regulators, and local stakeholders to enable the sustainable growth of our shared mobility service in Barcelona, and across major Spanish metropolises. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you will set direction, establish relationships, and build the foundations for a sound relationship and collaboration with City Councils and local stakeholders, especially in Catalonia. You'll act as Lime’s daily representative in Barcelona or Seville, shaping our public positioning, identifying policy opportunities and challenges, and ensuring our operations align with the region’s mobility priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and lead strategic relationships with senior government and city officials, policymakers, and regulatory agencies

Requirements

  • Degree in Politics, Communications, Law, Public Relations, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, political campaigns, or business development in a government-related environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Proven ability to prioritize, evaluate, and influence policy pathways
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and engaging at senior institutional levels
  • Available for travel
  • Full English, Catalan and Spanish proficiency required
