Onnec is looking for a Senior Global Procurement Specialist who will take over the full responsibility for some of the Procurement activities at a Global Level whilst supporting the rest of the team when required. The role has been created to support, influence and contribute to the overall strategic direction and operational performance of the organisation, enabling the adoption and following of a commercial transformation of procurement across the Onnec Group to a ‘best in class’ category management model and approach delivering a highly solutions focused procurement service. The post-holder will have responsibility for supporting the delivery of a high-quality procurement service applying innovative and progressive methodology for designated procurement expenditure resulting in commercially astute contracts that deliver tangible solution focused outcomes and significant ‘Value for Money’ benefits as below: Support the Global Procurement Director across international regions Help Internal Clients to deliver local, regional and global sourcing projects Driving cost efficiencies Sourcing best quality materials Evaluation of suppliers and their production and sales capacities Building strategic supplier relationships Ensuring ordering and timely delivery of materials Review of existing contracts & price negotiations Predicting costs, availability and suitability of materials Solving problems with suppliers Overseeing P2P processes and procedures to ensure commitments are cleared Preparing required reports and analysis
