The Senior Global Partner Success Manager role sits within the Global Strategic Partnerships team and will provide essential support to ensure the success of our partner relationships. This role is critical in ensuring that we help give entrepreneurs and founders within our partner networks access to Microsoft technology and resources to make them successful in their journey as they grow their startup from idea to exit and progress in their own career.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Onboarding & Ecosystem Activation: Champion the integration of new partners into the Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring they are empowered with the resources, tools, and support needed to thrive. Facilitate the alignment of partner goals with Microsoft’s mission, fostering a collaborative environment that accelerates innovation and growth for startups globally
Relationship Stewardship & Value Creation: Cultivate enduring, trust-based relationships with investor partners, acting as a strategic advisor and advocate for their success. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance partner engagement, satisfaction, and mutual value, leveraging insights to strengthen the partnership and drive long-term impact
Performance Insights & Strategic Enablement: Utilize data-driven analysis to monitor partnership health, track key performance indicators, and inform strategic decision-making. Share actionable insights with stakeholders to guide continuous improvement, optimize engagement strategies, and ensure that partner initiatives align with broader organizational objectives
Ecosystem Engagement & Thought Leadership: Lead the design and execution of high-impact events and initiatives that foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation across the partner network. Represent Microsoft in joint engagements, amplifying the voice of the startup community and driving collective success through shared experiences and best practices
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: Champion a culture of feedback and learning, systematically gathering insights from partners and internal teams to refine processes and enhance the overall partner experience. Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices, addressing challenges, and ensuring that the partnership journey is seamless and rewarding
Strategic Issue Resolution & Advocacy: Serve as a trusted point of escalation for complex partnership challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and advocate for partner needs. Ensure that concerns are addressed promptly and constructively, reinforcing Microsoft’s commitment to partner success and satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Sciences, or related field AND 5+ years relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, consulting, finance, marketing, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, legal, business development, product management, project management, software development, or related field) -OR equivalent experience
Experience within the startup environment and synthesizing insights from multiple data sources to guide continuous improvement and optimize engagement strategies
Experience orchestrating multi-team initiatives, managing multiple workflows, and influencing without direct authority
Experience designing and executing high-impact events, cohort programs, and strategic initiatives that foster innovation, knowledge sharing, and ecosystem engagement
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Expertise in leveraging CRM systems and advanced analytics to monitor partnership health, track KPIs, and inform strategic decision-making
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong bias for action
Proven ability to drive strategic alignment between partner goals and organizational objectives, influencing outcomes at scale
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of cultivating trust-based, high-value partnerships with investor networks, founders, and senior stakeholders
