Job Description:

The Uber Equity team is looking for a Global Equity Senior Administrator to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of consistently delivering high-quality work on time, thrives in a collaborative, "all hands on deck" environment, and is enthusiastic about expanding their knowledge of global equity administration at a fast-paced global company. You will contribute to Uber's global equity initiatives, specifically focusing on mobile employee equity taxation, global equity compliance and planning, and various special projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Audit cross-border (mobile) transactions related to RSU releases/option exercises, manage third-party mobile calculation engine, and maintain associated taxation profiles/tax ruleset within Shareworks
  • Monitor regulatory changes around the globe, and oversee implementation of regulatory changes to ensure program design and administration adhere to country-specific requirements
  • Manage recurring global equity plan reporting and international filings, including coordination with legal advisors
  • Lead tax and mobility-focused equity education initiatives to encourage employee understanding and engagement
  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries on equity tax and mobility-related matters
  • Partner with the equity operations team to facilitate day-to-day equity operations and assist with ad-hoc equity projects based on business requests

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience working with global equity plans or global mobility taxation, gained through in-house programs or consulting/accounting/law firms
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of progressive experience working with global equity plans or global mobility taxation, gained through in-house programs or consulting/accounting/law firms
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global equity plan design along with associated complexities of plan administration, regulatory requirements, and taxation implications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, and negotiate with business partners
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to design workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads effectively, meet deadlines, and drive projects to successful completion
