Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Demand Planning and SIOP Manager, this position will be responsible leading the Global Demand Planning Process for BDB Research Reagents, a complex long tail portfolio composed of + 15.000 SKUs.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the Global Demand Planning Process for BDB Research Reagents
  • Lead the efforts to optimize and generate Statistical Forecast through SCM
  • Measure performance with different forecast error criteria
  • Help to determine best configuration and time series-based model / forecasting strategy
  • Use portfolio segmentation strategies
  • Coordinate and schedule global demand review meetings with global marketing team
  • Confirm unit and revenue alignment for WW Demand
  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Publish meeting summaries and action items
  • Actively contribute to support the optimization and continuous improvement of the Global Research Reagents Strategy
  • Coordinate the activities necessary to produce 3–5-year long Demand Forecast Projections
  • Consolidate Demand review data and prepare summary reports for use in monthly SIOP and Finance Reconciliation process
  • Pull monthly forecast Snapshot data and consolidate for reporting and presentation purposes
  • Prepare quarterly long-term demand planning datafiles for capacity planning meetings with operations
  • Support BDB Research Reagents SIOP process improvement efforts
  • Develop process improvement ideas and implement them through the Global Demand Reviews

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Demand planning using an ERP system required
  • SAP & SCM (APO) experience preferred
  • Strong MS Excel, Data Analytics, Statistical Forecasting abilities are required
  • Previous Exposure to SIOP (S&OP) in Multinational | Matrix Organizations preferred
  • BS/BA with concentration in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Admin or Operations Management preferred
  • ASCM (APICS) CPIM certification preferred
