Job Description:

This role exists to Manage Global Logistic Automation Portfolio: Responsible for the procurement management of global logistics warehouse R&A (Robotic and Automation) investments, including loading/ Unloading system, AGV/AMR, ASRS, automated sorting, and intelligent warehouse software projects... The role encompasses portfolio strategy development aligned with BG strategy, supplier development, tendering, contract management, supplier relationship management, and business coordination related to procurement during project implementation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage Global Logistic Automation Portfolio: Responsible for the procurement management of global logistics warehouse R&A (Robotic and Automation) investments, including loading/ Unloading system, AGV/AMR, ASRS, automated sorting, and intelligent warehouse software projects
  • Lead and participate in Procurement related project meetings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Global and Regional Logistic Engineering teams
  • Serve as the main contact between Market Capex Procurement Managers and Global Logistic Engineering teams
  • Support market procurement managers in supplier escalation, expediting, and claims
  • Lead technology-sensitive projects and support quality, hygiene, and manufacturing excellence initiatives
  • Assist in developing and implementing Capex & MRO Procurement strategies in collaboration with Engineering and Market Partners
  • Lead procurement planning, sourcing projects, and negotiation of tenders and contracts (including e-tendering)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and Schedule of Authority
  • Conduct data analysis to inform negotiation strategies and supplier selection
  • Procurement Insights and Analysis: Understand portfolio strategies and procurement requirements
  • Industry, global Strategy & Insights teams, economic, competition and supplier insights
  • Procurement Strategy Formulation: Developing Portfolio strategy

  • Actively engage with suppliers at a strategic level, providing feedback and identifying new opportunities
  • Identify and agree on cost savings and cash benefit generation based on sourcing strategies and compliance management
  • Continuously enhance procurement processes and ways of working through close collaboration with the procurement portfolio team, market teams, and engineering
  • Oversee updates to portfolio trackers for savings, cash flow, projects, and contracts
  • Ensure timely supplier onboarding and resolution of overdue payments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or above level
  • Senior experience in Procurement, Supply Management, preferably within a technical procurement position
  • Experience in setting up and managing complex legal contracting, project and relationship management
  • Strong communicator with experience in working successful in virtual team environments
  • Superior stakeholder management, both internal and external
  • Good negotiation skills for both external and internal negotiations
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Ability to operate in a large organization with complex decision structures / remote relationships
  • Methodical and organized
  • Proactive and positive team player
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Good skills MS Office (more than average on MS Excel)

  • Ability to analyse sourcing data and conceptualise sourcing strategies to identify / propose sourcing opportunities while setting Portfolio strategy or developing negotiation strategies
  • Influencing skills to promote ideas and concepts back to stakeholders and budget holders in a Business Partner capacity
  • Attention to detail and ability to assimilate, appraise and extract information quickly when faced with increasing data inputs
  • Problem solving skills to analyse information to evaluate internal demand and external supplier information and extract critical cost opportunities

  • Oversea or global environment working experience preferred
