Senior GL Accountant

• Manage General Ledger activities for assigned entities, countries, or legal entities
• Prepare and post journal entries in line with accounting policies and standards
• Perform account reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations
• Ensure accurate cost center, profit center, and GL account postings
• Support financial close reporting in CFIN
• Contribute to month-end closing activities, including US GAAP postings
• Assist with statutory reporting requirements, unless outsourced
• Work in line with internal accounting guidelines and financial regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and ways of working within the GL area

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
• Knowledge of Finance in general and General Ledger in particular (+4 years)
• Hands-on experience in GL department in a Business Shared Services Center
• Prior participation in process transitions and transformations would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP Finance
• Fluent in English and Polish
