Senior Geotechnical Engineer

• Investigate residential and commercial sites to evaluate the cause and origin of geotechnical failures, damages or defects
• Conduct and manage forensic geotechnical evaluations
• Direct, review, and oversee small to large private and public geotechnical projects
• Mentor junior staff
• Provide leadership
• Maintain client relationships
• Assist in marketing/business development
• Provide ongoing training to engineering staff
• Provide direction and review of engineering work products
• Prepare, review and sign geotechnical proposals and reports

• Civil PE license
• M.S. in Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis
• Licensed professional engineer in Texas
• Over 10 years of experience with a geotechnical consulting firm performing duties described
• Well-rounded background in geotechnical engineering
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Track record of successful client relationships and service
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of geotechnical engineering
• Work experience with construction and earthwork activities
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Excellent problem solving skills
