Selectek is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 3–7 years of experience to support geotechnical and construction materials projects. This role involves project management, field oversight, client interaction, and preparation of technical engineering reports.
Job Responsibility:
Manage geotechnical and construction materials projects from setup through closeout
Communicate with clients and assist with proposal preparation and business development
Prepare geotechnical engineering reports and technical correspondence
Perform boring layout, utility coordination, and subcontractor coordination
Conduct and/or oversee seismic refraction, shear wave velocity, and resistivity data collection
Perform soil classification and technical engineering analysis
Draft boring logs, figures, and project exhibits
Oversee field observations and laboratory testing in accordance with applicable ASTM standards
Review field reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
3–7 years of geotechnical engineering experience
Construction Materials experience required
Experience with geotechnical software such as LPILE, SLIDE, gINT, and Microsoft Office
Nice to have:
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain within one year
