We are currently recruiting for a Senior Geospatial Surveyor to join our Digital Engineering Department based out of our Dublin offices. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Geospatial Surveyor to lead from the front and take ownership of a variety of some of the most highly sought after projects in Ireland in sectors such as Manufacturing, Transport, Heritage, Reality Capture, and Infrastructure.
Job Responsibility
Acting as a Lead Surveyor on key projects and driving positive outcomes for both the client and Murphy Geospatial
Delivering projects on time, within budget, to the required quality and within a safe manner
Adopting the company's Geospatial workflows & standards
Site Capture using a range of Laser Scanners – TLS & SLAM Methodology
Registration & Publishing of Point Clouds using a range of Software
Meshing Point Clouds and Photogrammetry Inputs
Installation and Adjustment of Datum Networks
Input into innovation and company workflows
Supporting the BIM team
Mentoring junior team members and upskilling
Understanding and supporting the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and Management Systems and identify nonconformities
Requirements
Possess a relevant degree qualification (Surveying, Geomatics or similar)
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant surveying experience
Ability to test and learn new software
Good experience of working with Point Clouds
Possess a full, clean Irish/EU driving License
Good understanding of BIM and ISO19650 Principles (desirable)
Programming Skills (desirable)
Possess Chartered surveyor status or professional membership of surveying bodies (desirable but not essential)
