Job Description:

Wissen Technology is Hiring for GCP Cloud Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to architect, implement, and manage robust, secure, and scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Load Balancer, Cloud Functions, Azure DevOps, and Terraform, with a strong background in automation, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecture. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to deliver high-performance cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation pipelines, ensuring security, reliability, and cost optimization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management: Design, implement, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform and other automation tools
  • Deploy and manage GCP services like Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Filestore, and IAM
  • Configure and maintain Cloud Load Balancers (HTTP(S), TCP/UDP, SSL Proxy) to ensure high availability and scalability
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize GCP resource usage and cost efficiency
  • Kubernetes & Container Orchestration: Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Utilize Helm charts, Istio, and service mesh for managing microservices-based architectures
  • Implement rolling updates, blue/green deployments, and zero-downtime upgrades
  • Serverless & Compute Services: Deploy and manage applications using Cloud Run and Cloud Functions
  • Optimize container-based workloads on Cloud Run for performance and cost-effectiveness
  • CI/CD & DevOps Automation: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Terraform, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Integrate security and compliance checks into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps approach)

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years in Cloud/DevOps Engineering, with a focus on GCP
  • Deep understanding of GCP services including GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions
  • Proven experience with GKE, Docker, Helm, and container networking
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for building and managing pipelines
  • Strong command over Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards

Nice to have:

  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent certification
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tools
