Job Description:

Airswift is searching for a Senior Gas Export Pipeline Engineer to work with a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector on a major offshore pipeline development. This role is a technical leadership position focused on offshore gas export pipeline systems and subsea infrastructure, ensuring engineering integrity, regulatory compliance, and safe project delivery across all phases from concept to commissioning. This is a third-party contractor position on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as technical authority for offshore gas export pipeline systems
  • Oversee engineering activities across pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design
  • Ensure compliance with international codes and project specifications
  • Lead pipeline integrity and fitness-for-service assessments
  • Support procurement, contractor evaluation, and technical clarifications
  • Supervise testing, installation, and commissioning activities
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  • Participate in HAZOPs, risk management, and design reviews

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil or related)
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore pipelines and subsea systems
  • Strong experience with FEED and detailed engineering projects
  • Expertise in pipeline design (stress, stability, corrosion, integrity)
  • Experience with SURF systems (flowlines, risers, umbilicals)
  • Experience as Owner's Engineer or technical authority
  • Familiarity with offshore installation and commissioning
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
