Job Description:

Citi’s technology team supports business operations in over 100 countries, working on innovative solutions within Institutional and retail banking. This role involves hands-on technical implementation of FX trading systems, collaborating with trading and quant teams, and contributing to high-quality deliverables as part of best practices. The successful candidate will work on designing system architectures and maintaining up-to-date documentation. A proven track record of building systems and understanding ultra low-latency development practices is highly valued.

Job Responsibility:

Hands-on technical implementation of FX trading systems
work with teams across FX Trading Technology to implement solutions that benefit the business
drive the design and development of system architecture
work with end-users of the systems
enhance the quality of deliverables
ensure staff follow Citi documented policy and procedures
maintain desktop procedures and supporting documentation
contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department
ensure transparency and consistency across teams
work directly with trading and quant teams.

Requirements:

Proven understanding of FX highly preferred
understanding of ultra low-latency development practices
proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems and renovating existing systems
systems knowledge (software, hardware, networks) required to define solutions and troubleshoot issues
exceptional communicator who loves working with people, confident communicating at all levels
hands-on engineer, confident to deep dive into a product and codebase
awareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate
degree educated in engineering or computer science field, or proven experience operating in a similar role.
