As our Senior FX Manager, you’ll take charge of managing and executing the store delivery schedule, ensuring everything runs smoothly in line with Travel Money Group’s "One Best Way" policy. You'll be the go-to person for our Foreign Exchange Consultants, ensuring service levels are top-notch, stock levels are on point, and the right products are where they need to be. As the Senior FX Manager, you will also have access to the purchasing and sell off of cash for our store and wholesale network.
Job Responsibility:
Work closely and openly with all areas of the Cash Operations team and wider Travel Money Group
Operate an effective dual directional supply of product to front-line retail stores within deadlines
Liaise with supplier partners to ensure relevant service level agreements are maintained
Demonstrate effective communication with consultants in store to ensure appropriate stock levels of foreign currency
Demonstrate effective communication with Head of FX and the Cash operations team to maintain an appropriate level of stock in the vault in Australia and New Zealand
Identify & implement improvements to current Travel Money Group One Best Way processes
Identify customer trends in the buying and selling of foreign currency
Liaise with supply chain analysis and external stakeholders where appropriate in the purchase and supply of bank notes
Actively leverage sales process to increase conversion rate, decrease sales cycle, and improve deal win rate
Requirements:
Excellent computer literacy and confidence in Excel
Ability to be proactive and meet KPIs
Adaptability and an ability to take initiative based on business needs
Flexibility in working hours to connect with network across different time zones
Experience in a fast-paced, deadline orientated environment
Operational/front end experience in foreign exchange, with an understanding of customer trends and how to maintain appropriate stock levels
Nice to have:
Experience in freight and logistics may be advantageous
