Job Description:

HSBC is hiring for the role of Senior Fund Administrator in Bangalore, India. The role involves ensuring operational excellence, driving client satisfaction, adhering to process guidelines, and coordinating across teams. Necessary skills include trade processing, financial analysis, and knowledge of trade platforms and investment accounting. Job Responsibility:

Achieve target deliverables combined with the ability to get work done from administrators to achieve target KPIs
Multi-tasking with the ability to independently prioritize workload without impacting deliverables
Provide support for seamless re-migration, onboarding of new business and funds in line with the Global Operating Model
Drive excellent client service within the standard model with promoting continuous improvement of processes and identifying and capitalizing opportunities to create capacity and generate efficiencies
Keep the team motivated, ensure they perform at their best and work towards increasing the team’s overall performance in terms of productivity & quality
Liaison and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to drive service excellence
Develop good working relationships with peers in other processes and business partners
Complete IOC for captured roles
Adhere to process and FIM guidelines to ensure NIL impact to the business
Meet the work-related challenges professionally in a structured work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
3-5 years of relevant trade processing, settlements, Setup and Confirmation
Ability to handle teams and monitor and meet operational goals
Should have an eye for detail and a strong analytical mind
Complete understanding of Trade Life Cycle
Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets and Financial instruments
Efficient Time Management and ability to multi-task work and priorities to meet defined deadlines
Interact with broker and Investment manager for statements/portal access for booking purpose
Knowledge on Trade platforms like Calypso/MARKIT/Geneva/Trade Flow/Multifonds
Understanding of investment accounting, investment valuations and funds will be an advantage
Strong Accounting Concepts with a clear understanding of financial statements
Basic knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, Clearing agent, and reconciliations
Additional qualifications related to the financial industry will be given preference.
