Job Description

Fantastic and rare opportunity for a Senior Fund Accountant to join a multi-billion dollar asset management firm! Truly rare opportunity as the company takes care of it's employee's and therefore rarely has an opening.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in line with regulatory requirements and GAAP
  • Oversee accounts reconciliation, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
  • Analysis and interpretation of fund performance data
  • Liaise with auditors, administer audit process and review draft financial statements and audit findings
  • Monitor cash and capital transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, distributions and transfers
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, company policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and manage operational risk within the accounting process

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • CPA credentials are preferred
  • Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
  • 3-5 years of overall general fund accounting experience
