Job Description:

Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half is partnering with a legendary VC firm. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of fund accounting and valuation, working closely with partners and leadership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead quarterly ASC 820 valuations for portfolio companies, including modeling, assumptions, and documentation
  • Present valuation insights to internal stakeholders, auditors, and valuation committees
  • Support fund operations: close process, financials, partner allocations, and audit deliverables
  • Review capital calls, distributions, and cash planning
  • Partner with LPs on inquiries and reporting
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in public accounting (VC/PE clients) or in-house fund accounting
  • Strong grasp of ASC 820 / ASC 946 and venture capital fund structures
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • CPA is a plus, not required
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
