Requirements

Technical expertise in Workplace Relations and Industrial Relations legislation with a broad knowledge base of contemporary HR practices
Demonstrated ability to translate employment frameworks, policies and procedures into practical applications
Experience managing and coordinating complex projects, preferably within a higher education or large organization
Excellent interpersonal skills in liaising with staff at all levels, unions and other third parties, with demonstrated experience negotiating effective outcomes, consultation and facilitation of group discussions

Support leaders and stakeholders with complex case management, contribute to capability uplift across the function, and act as a trusted advisor in a dynamic environment
Play a lead role in coordinating and delivering the University’s enterprise bargaining program end-to-end, including preparation, strategy development, negotiations, and implementation of the Staff Agreement
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, Legal Services, unions, and employee representatives, while supporting a proactive, people-centred approach to workplace relations
