Job Description:

Software Engineers are critical to building the products and services we need to deliver on set of tooling within our department. Joining Citi as a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to build high-profile products, work closely with a talented group of peers, and advance your skillset. The role involves working across a diverse tech stack, including Java, Python, Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Generative AI features, along with driving cultural change and advocating for continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and test software applications
Work closely with other team members to ensure that the software is developed and delivered on time and within budget
Set the standards for what good looks like
Ensure our software platforms are compliant with Citi's security and Software Development Life Cycle processes
Work with a wide variety of teams across the organisation and help drive them towards an everything-as-code and a codified controls mind-set
Support and drive cultural change, instigating critical thinking about controls and processes and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in product teams
Strong Experience delivering (preferably Python, Go, Java/SpringBoot and TypeScript) code to production
Experience working in an agile software development environment
Proven experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based micro-services, distributed logs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and DevSecOps
