The Poseidon team is responsible for the foundational elements of our platform, managing the core shared services related to user and organization management. This includes overseeing roles and permissions, handling all aspects of user authentication and authorization, from traditional logins to Single Sign-On (SSO), and ensuring seamless user provisioning. Our services are the essential building blocks that every other team and feature in the company relies on.

Job Responsibility:

  • Become part of a cross-functional product team called Poseidon working on the core components of the Make product
  • Design and develop innovative solutions, and build new product features
  • Improve existing code to enhance maintainability, performance, reliability, and resiliency of our systems
  • Write and maintain tests
  • Ship code to production
  • Automate repetitive work
  • Write and review RFCs and technical documentation
  • Review and give feedback on the work of others
  • Grow and help others grow professionally
  • Participate in cross-cutting initiatives and influence how engineering practices and tooling evolve at Make

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing cloud services (5+ years)
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript on back-end and front-end
  • Experience with Docker, software containerization and microservices architectures
  • Strong command of English, both verbal and written

Nice to have:

Experience with PostgreSQL, Angular and other particular technologies from our stack
