Job Description:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a team that is transforming an existing product into a next-generation solution built for the future. Our project focuses on a complete rebuild of a tourism data management system — redesigned from the ground up to deliver high performance, a modular architecture, and full cloud readiness. You will help shape a modern, scalable platform with seamless and integrated data flows, ensuring the product is ready for the evolving needs of the tourism industry. If you want to work on a meaningful, future-oriented solution and contribute to a high-impact product transformation, this opportunity is for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Co-development and conception of a new open and fully configurable tourism data system
  • Implementing RESTful APIs with .NET Core
  • Developing user-friendly UIs with Vue.js
  • Modeling data structures and access with Entity Framework Core
  • Contribution to containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment
  • Optional: Participation in architectural decisions, CI/CD, testing

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with .NET Core and C# in production environments
  • Good knowledge of TypeScript and Vue.js (or comparable Javascript frameworks)
  • Experience with relational databases, ideally SQL Server
  • Understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, and modern software architectures
  • Interest in containerization (Docker) and cloud topics
  • Independent, structured work style
  • English language (at least upper-intermediate)
  • German language (at least intermediate)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Non-conflicting

Nice to have:

  • Experience with legacy system migrations
  • Knowledge in the tourism sector or with open geodata
  • Experience with service workers / PWA technologies
  • DevOps know-how: CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code
