Job Description:

Our client is modernizing a custom WPF desktop workflow application by rebuilding it in Blazor and migrating to AWS. This is a 24+ month contract role, with on-site work in Lincoln, NE required 2–3 days per week. The Software Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing components of the new system, collaborating closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams in an Agile environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full lifecycle development: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support
  • Develop clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
  • Collaborate with users and provide knowledge sharing and training when needed
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, design reviews
  • Maintain documentation (JIRA tasks, architecture diagrams, project wiki, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of backend development (C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, AWS RDS/MySQL)
  • 5+ years of front-end web development
  • Blazor preferred
  • Experience with AWS services: Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Solid understanding of .NET Core, design patterns, and SOLID principles
  • Familiarity with Single Page Applications (SPA) lifecycle
