Job Description:

Gummicube, a division of Airship, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Node.js/React to join our growing dev team. Gummicube works with top app developers around the world, and as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will have the opportunity to influence the success of some of the biggest brands in the Google Play and Apple App Store. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on our business and can become a key player on our team.

Job Responsibility:

Act as a technical leader and key contributor in the design and development of our platform, helping to architect the future of our mobile market intelligence products
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers, raising the quality bar for code and development practices across the team
Drive complex technical projects from initial concept to live production, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals
Identify and solve challenging architectural problems and performance bottlenecks in our large-scale data systems

Requirements:

5+ years of direct experience
Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, including leading projects, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, and conducting thorough code reviews
A deep understanding of system architecture and a proven ability to design and implement robust, scalable solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical decisions independently and collaboratively
A track record of improving engineering processes, team efficiency, and overall code quality
Able to deliver, modify, and maintain modern full stack Javascript Node.js applications with React and GraphQL
Familiar integrating with AWS infrastructure (DynamoDB, RDS, S3) or similar
Experience with test-driven development practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Git for version control, issue/feature branching, merge requests
Able to flex to other technical task and projects as needed including devops, data management, infosec, legacy systems, and/or device hacking
Understanding the importance of delivering value to our clients, not just completing tasks to specs
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Always interested in learning new technologies and paradigms
Self-motivated and able to work fully remote
Flexible and able to jump between several different projects in all stages of development cycle from prototypes to live production
Experience experimenting with AI tools in your personal or professional life - or an eagerness to learn!
