Job Description:

At 0x, the Senior Full Stack Engineer role focuses on building user-facing features for Matcha, a DEX aggregator, using modern web technologies like React and TypeScript while staying involved in backend and smart contract components when required. This position supports team development, product innovation in the blockchain space, and collaboration with design and analytics teams to improve the decentralized finance experience.

Job Responsibility:

craft delightful experiences – build, test, and deploy performant React/Next.js UI that makes complex DeFi interactions feel magical
ship autonomously – take ownership of features and iterate quickly with design, product, and data partners
push the frontier – keep abreast of the nascent and rapidly evolving blockchain space, and introduce innovative tools and products
elevate the team – mentor peers, review PRs, and shape our engineering culture of intellectual honesty and long‑term thinking

Requirements:

5+ years building production web apps
fluency in TypeScript and modern React patterns
strong command of HTML/CSS and browser performance fundamentals
proven experience designing and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL)
hands‑on with Web3 tooling (wagmi, viem, ethers.js) or deep interest and the capacity to ramp fast
time‑zone overlap with US Pacific ± 4 hours
bachelor's or equivalent experience
knowledge and passion for decentralized finance and the 0x mission
exhibit core values: do the right thing, consistently ship, and focus on long-term impact
willingness to travel globally for two annual in-person team meetups - all travel expenses covered

Nice to have:

DeFi power‑user or contributor
familiarity with Amplitude, Fullstory, or similar analytics suites
observability chops with AWS, Grafana, Sentry
Solidity, EVM, or Solana experience
