Job Description:

The Senior Full Stack Engineer, Control Plane will design and build secure, reliable, and scalable control plane services. This role requires strong backend expertise along with React and TypeScript front-end skills to deliver seamless operator experiences. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and observability across the stack, driving enterprise-grade SaaS control surfaces.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement control plane services and secure APIs
  • Build React and TypeScript UIs for policy, access, quota, and usage management
  • Instrument services with OpenTelemetry and service-level metrics
  • Strengthen authentication, RBAC, and input validation across the stack
  • Develop and maintain tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels
  • Deliver auditable APIs with predictable versioning and SLAs
  • Enhance operator UX to enable self-service without tickets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of full stack development with strong backend plus React and TypeScript
  • Proven experience with auth, RBAC, and secure APIs
  • Skilled in Postgres and containerized deployments
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes
  • Strong commitment to code quality and testing discipline
  • Experience shipping enterprise SaaS control surfaces
  • Comfort working across API, data, and UI boundaries

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to workflow engines or event-driven systems
  • Familiarity with RAG or search technologies
  • Experience with observability instrumentation (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus)
  • Knowledge of enterprise messenger integrations (Slack, Teams, Webex)

  • Build and maintain shared framework components that support routing, switching, VPN, and overlay protocols rather than implementing individual protocol stacks
  • Develop high-performance, low-latency system software primarily in C, focusing on efficient data structures, memory management, and scalability
  • Design and optimize core data structures and frameworks used for: Packet processing pipelines, Routing and forwarding databases, Protocol state machines and control-plane infrastructure
  • Work closely with protocol teams (OSPF, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, VXLAN, etc.) to provide robust and reusable infrastructure components
