Job Description:

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role within Inventory Data & Enterprise application team at Citi. This position involves designing and delivering scalable, resilient, and high performance platform supporting global business-critical applications. The role combines strong technical expertise with analytical skills and leadership ability in a global financial institution.

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement scalable, high performance solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
Build and optimize services in Java and Angular focusing on scalability and performance
Develop and maintain distributed systems leveraging Kafka and Flink for real-time data processing
Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database teams on solution design, delivery, and production support
Collaborate with cross-regional colleagues and stakeholders

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in software engineering role
Proven expertise in Java (Core and advanced concepts including concurrency and optimization)
Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (query optimization, indexing, replication, backup/recovery)
Proficiency in Angular and modern TypeScript
Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers in distributed teams
Ability to thrive in a matrixed, global organisation and fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
