Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and hands-on Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic technology team that is focused on leveraging cutting-edge technologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, high-performance data solutions that support critical business functions. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle leveraging a diverse set of modern technologies.

Job Responsibility:

Lead technical solutions for data governance (quality, lineage, access) and build/maintain robust data pipelines and integrations using Python, Java, messaging, and various file formats
develop and maintain high-performance applications (Python/Java backend, modern JS frontend) with a focus on data integrity
quickly adjust priorities and solve complex technical challenges in a dynamic environment
provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements:

8+ years in software development, with 3-5+ years in a senior full-stack role
strong proficiency in Python (backend, data processing) and Java (scalable backend systems)
solid experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
expertise in relational, NoSQL, and Graph Databases Neo4j
proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
good knowledge of JSON, AVRO, CSV, and XML
proven experience with AWS and/or GCP for application design, deployment, and management
deep expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift
strong command-line proficiency, including shell scripting for automation and system administration
exposure to Kafka, MQ, and Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Spark, Hive)
desirable experience with Generative AI (GenAI) models, LLMs, and related tooling/APIs
familiarity with development, debugging, performance monitoring, and testing frameworks.
