Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge Issuer platform. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot to design, build, and deliver innovative solutions for a leading financial institution. You will work in a collaborative and agile environment, leading by example and mentoring junior developers, while contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, with a primary focus on backend development. Experience with front-end technologies like Angular is a plus.

Job Responsibility

  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant Java-based applications using Spring Boot, taking ownership of critical components and features
  • Lead technical discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the Issuer platform
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to translate complex business requirements into robust and elegant technical solutions
  • Drive the adoption of modern software development best practices, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions and mitigating potential risks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong background in professional software development with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex systems, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience mentoring junior developers

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
  • Experience in the financial services industry
