Job Description:

Senior Full Stack Developer position at Citi to join teams building high performance services at the frontline of our financial markets franchise. The role involves working within 'Citi Start-up' teams operating alongside founders and subject matter experts to develop market-ready, minimum viable products for a global client base.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular and React.js for the front end and Spring Boot for the back end
Build responsive and visually appealing user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and DevOps
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development
Work within 'Citi Start-up' teams to develop market-ready, minimum viable products

Requirements:

8+ years experience in Mobile Hybrid & Web development
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Data driven and results-oriented
Experience delivering with an agile methodology
Strong proficiency in Angular or React.js
Solid experience with Spring Boot and Java for backend development
Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive web design
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern front-end build pipelines
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience with TypeScript, Redux, or other state management libraries
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
Exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
