We are looking for a Senior Frontend Infrastructure Developer to join our Frontend Guild and help shape the foundational tools, design systems, and CI/CD pipelines that power Gong’s UI. In this role, you will bridge the gap between architecture and user experience, driving R&D velocity by building the scalable systems that empower every other engineer in the company to deliver world-class products.
Job Responsibility:
End-to-End Feature Delivery: Taking full responsibility for your features—from early ideation and wireframing with Product and UX teams to production
Professional Mastery: Taking charge of your own growth by utilizing dedicated learning time, professional workshops, and lectures to stay at the forefront of technology
The Development Environment: Maintaining and evolving the standards that define how frontend code is written and deployed across the organization
Requirements:
5+ years of industry experience developing web applications
strong sense of ownership and enjoy taking responsibility for the product you help create
deep understanding of JavaScript
strong experience with React (must-have)
experience building large-scale, cloud-based web applications
experience with build tools such as vite, esbuild and managing large-scale code projects
proven experience in the architecture of design systems and components
strong verbal and written English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
familiarity with backend languages such as Java, Node.js, C#, or others (an advantage)
ability to work both independently and as part of a team of highly skilled peers
preferably, a degree in computer science or a related field
