We are looking for a passionate Senior Engineer who wants to join our growing team, helping us to transform and scale our payments platform. This role will involve ownership of the entire engineering lifecycle from concept to production and release, being involved primarily in backend development with contribution to the frontend as well. As a Senior team member you will have influence with technical direction, work collaboratively with stakeholders and drive high standards for code quality and performance. To help us drive success and achieve business goals you will be responsible for designing, building, deploying and maintaining new long-term features and services that are both scalable and reliable.
Job Responsibility:
Own the frontend architecture for a stablecoin platform supporting multiple currencies and blockchains, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Lead the technical strategy for custody, treasury management, and liquidity optimization experiences—turning complex workflows into clear, safe, fast UIs
Establish and enforce frontend security standards and best practices across development, deployment, and monitoring (especially for high-risk financial workflows)
Build UI foundations: shared component patterns, state management conventions, API contract standards, performance budgets, accessibility, and observability
Build and maintain end-to-end integrations surfaced through the product—stablecoin rails, blockchain infrastructure, and related APIs—with robust UX for failure modes and reconciliation
Participate in backend/smart-contract-adjacent work where needed (e.g., shaping flows for escrow/settlement), while keeping ownership of the customer/operator UI quality bar
Build frontend experiences for reconciliation and settlement across blockchain + banking rails, including transparency into statuses, exceptions, and recoveries
Create operator tooling for transaction routing, fee optimization, and continuity (failover/DR visibility and controls)
Implement compliance-facing workflows and admin consoles for transaction monitoring, screening, AML/CFT controls, sanctions screening, and address allow/deny lists
Integrate transaction monitoring, screening, and compliance controls for AML/CFT requirements
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to implement VASP and MiCA requirements and travel rule protocols
Shape and implement APIs/webhooks (as a consumer and contributor) to ensure frontend needs are met cleanly and safely
Integrate with banking partners, liquidity providers, and DeFi protocols, providing robust UI/admin tooling for operational reality
Lead incident response, debugging, and post-mortems with strong production discipline
Requirements:
Prior fintech/regtech product exposure with understanding all the vocabulary, tooling, objects and user journeys and transaction flows together with understanding that UX correctness is as critical as system correctness
Expert in Angular (TypeScript-first) for large-scale applications: architecture, performance, state management, complex forms, routing/guards, and building reusable UI systems
React.js knowledge: able to design, implement, and review production React codebases (modern hooks patterns, performance, component architecture) even if Angular is the primary stack
Good proficiency in backend development (Nest.js (or Node.js) - must)
Experience with blockchain integrations and transaction types
ability to contribute across services that power the frontend workflows
Event-driven/distributed systems mindset
strong SQL + NoSQL skills
familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD
Understanding of payment systems architecture (clearing, settlement, and recs)
Knowledge of banking APIs, payment networks (SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments), and treasury operations
Experience with financial compliance requirements, KYC/AML processes, and transaction monitoring
Strong security mindset with experience in secure coding practices
Experience with security auditing processes and working with external audit firms
Knowledge of secure key generation, storage, and rotation practices
Candidates will need to have the right to work in the jurisdiction that they are looking to work in
