Job Description:

Airwallex is the only unified payments and financial platform for global businesses. Powered by our unique combination of proprietary infrastructure and software, we empower over 200,000 businesses worldwide – including Brex, Rippling, Navan, Qantas, SHEIN and many more – with fully integrated solutions to manage everything from business accounts, payments, spend management and treasury, to embedded finance at a global scale. The Financial Markets team is responsible for Airwallex's core FX and liquidity infrastructure. We're now expanding into building the stablecoin infrastructure that will enable both customers and internal systems to buy, hold, and settle with tokenised currency globally. This includes support for near-instant global payments, on-chain liquidity, and seamless conversion between fiat and stablecoin balances. We're building stablecoins into the core of Airwallex's infrastructure, so they function as seamlessly as any fiat currency across our global platform. As part of this, we’re looking for a web front-end engineer to lead the design and development of user-facing stablecoin features. This includes building secure, performant, and intuitive web interfaces for sending, receiving, holding, and converting digital currencies. You’ll work closely with product and back-end teams to deliver clean, reliable experiences that make complex blockchain interactions feel simple and familiar to users.

  • Deliver NPM package and library widgets with open source project to easy client integration
  • Leverage GCP & Aliyun K8S / Bucket CDN and Cloudflare to deploy micro FE and node.js service with GitLab CICD best practices
  • Adopt React testing library/test render / cypress to design high-quality unit test and e2e test with 80%+ coverage
  • Using contentful and next.js to build nocode / serverless CMS system for corpsite & branding landing pages
  • Actively engage with frontend guild, research cutting edge technologies, and drive initiatives to build high-quality products and clean up techdebts

Requirements:

  • Have more than 5 years of front-end development experience and more than 2 years of front-end architecture experience
  • Have experience in developing large-scale financial web systems
  • Have a computer science or related major, bachelor degree or above
  • Fluent in English

  • Familiar with Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap 3 or other CSS frameworks
  • Familiar with HTTP (s) protocol and RESTful specifications
  • Familiar with Webpack, Polyfill, Rollup.js
  • Familiar with building BFF using node.js
  • You are interested in beyond frontend technologies, including design systems, server-side development, and data analytics
  • Clear communicator who works well across engineering, product, and non-technical teams

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Java or Kotlin
  • Experience in FX, payments, or financial infrastructure
What we offer:
  • Impact and Innovation: Join a team where innovation meets impact. With us, you will redefine the technological landscape of the financial world
  • Diversity and Collaboration: Our strength lies in our diversity and collaborative spirit, ensuring a rich, inclusive workspace
