Job Description

Purpose of the Job: As a Senior Freight Operations Executive, you will take charge of day-to-day land freight forwarding operations, ensuring shipments move smoothly, on time, and according to SLA. This role is hands-on, working closely with trucking partners and internal teams to manage shipment execution, resolve operational issues quickly, and support reliable domestic freight solutions for Aramex customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage end-to-end domestic land freight operations, from shipment coordination to final delivery
  • Coordinate daily activities with trucking vendors and third-party transport partners to ensure timely and cost-efficient execution
  • Monitor shipment status, proactively follow up on delays, and resolve operational issues
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including Delivery Orders (DO), Proof of Delivery (POD), and operational records
  • Maintain operational performance in line with agreed SLAs and internal guidelines
  • Prepare and update regular operational reports, including shipment volume, performance, and exceptions
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Commercial, Customer Service, and Finance to support smooth operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency, service quality, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1), preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in land freight, trucking, or freight forwarding operations
  • Solid hands-on experience in managing domestic land freight movements
  • Prior exposure to working with third-party transporters and vendors is required
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end land freight forwarding processes, including shipment coordination, documentation, and delivery follow-up
  • Experience preparing operational reports (shipment volume, performance, issues)
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external partners
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight timelines
