This is a pivotal hire to join a collaborative finance team, reporting directly to the CFO, and will play a key role in developing the FP&A function as the business scales. You will also gain exposure to the workings of a listed company, including board reporting and financial analyst interactions. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious FP&A professional to shape a finance function in a fast-paced, growing business while working closely with senior leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals
Provide commentary to the Board on monthly performance
Develop long-term financial plans to support investor communications and strategic decision-making
Build financial models and scenario analyses to inform planning and investment decisions
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
Develop and maintain KPI dashboards
Act as a business partner to operational teams to support informed financial decisions
Collaborate across departments to understand performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
Assist with calculations related to commissions, incentives, and other key business expenses
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
Minimum 3 years’ experience in FP&A or a related commercial finance role
Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Nice to have:
Experience in high-growth SME environments is desirable
