Job Description

We’re seeking a senior FP&A analyst/modeler to build scalable, driver‑based long‑range planning models (P&L, cash flow, ROIC) and modernize legacy tooling. The ideal contractor combines deep finance expertise with advanced modeling and automation skills to accelerate scenario analysis and decision support.

Job Responsibility

  • Design modular, driver‑based LRP models with executive‑ready outputs
  • Build scenario/sensitivity capabilities to quantify risks/opportunities and ranges of outcomes
  • Audit and rebuild legacy models to remove hardcodes/circulars
  • improve transparency and speed
  • Automate data ingestion
  • connect disparate sources
  • improve cycle time and data integrity
  • Establish model standards (version control, checks, documentation) to ensure one source of truth

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in FP&A/strategic finance/consulting/IB or similar, including project ownership
  • Expert modeling in Excel/Google Sheets (architecture, error‑proofing, sensitivity analysis)
  • Strong grasp of US GAAP and full three‑statement flow
  • able to diagnose and fix balance breaks
  • Track record automating manual workflows and integrating data sources (e.g., SQL/ETL/BI)
  • Excellent business judgment, structured problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication
  • Experience with subscription/SaaS or cloud‑scale economics and unit economics
  • Exposure to Anaplan/Workday Adaptive/Planful
  • basic SQL or Python for analytics
  • Power BI/Tableau
