Joining a collaborative team of seven experienced chemists, you will act as the senior technical authority within the lab. This role is 100% on-site and lab-based, focusing on technical excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technical Leadership: Develop and optimize highly complex, commercially viable formulations for over 130 iconic brands
  • Project Ownership: Take full control of high-priority projects from concept to shelf with a high degree of independence
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary technical face for established brand partners, qualifying briefs and managing technical expectations
  • Mentorship: Build collective capability by acting as a technical mentor within the lab team
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all formulations meet strict cGMP and quality standards

Requirements:

  • A degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven cosmetic formulation experience (though we are flexible for the right technical fit)
  • Advanced expertise in creating complex cosmetic formulations
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to find practical solutions to challenging briefs
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com or NetSuite) is a plus
