Job Description:

The Senior Food & Beverage Director is responsible for leading food service operations and delivering high quality dining solutions that meet customer and client needs. This role oversees daily operations in a dynamic, menu based dining environment while driving strong financial performance, operational excellence, and team development. This position plays a key role in developing and executing food service strategies, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, coach, and develop teams through recruiting, training, performance management, and recognition
  • Create clear expectations and a shared understanding of operational goals and execution
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, sanitation, and engagement across all operations
  • Support the Line of Business initiatives and the implementation & execution of new systems and tools
  • Direct daily operations related to food production, distribution, and service
  • Establish and maintain systems for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food
  • Manage front of house operations in all food service operations, including serveries, a la carte and quick service models
  • Oversee inventory processes and ensure accurate operational record keeping
  • Manage budgets, food and labor costs, and overall financial performance
  • Maintain P&L accountability and explain operational variances
  • Implement established systems and initiatives to drive efficiency, productivity, and cost control
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress effectively
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client and customer stakeholders
  • Support sales growth and retention by identifying opportunities for new products and services
  • Ensure all food service operations comply with safety, health, wage and hour, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for employees, customers, and clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including 1–3 years in a management role
  • Previous food service experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
