Senior Fluids Modelling Engineer

• Develop models and run simulations, primarily in the fluids domain, with exposure to thermals, acoustics, structures, and dynamic mechanical systems
• Work with cross‑functional teams to quickly translate project requirements into effective simulation models
• Validate and test models to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Interpret simulation results and deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging simulation tools and techniques, actively exploring and implementing new approaches
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for models, methods, and processes
• Communicate findings and recommendations confidently, both in writing and verbally

• Master’s degree in mechanical, aeromechanical, or related engineering field
• Chartered engineer status or working toward Chartership is desirable
• Extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience, ideally using Ansys tools
• Skilled in coding and mathematical modelling (MATLAB, Simulink, Python)
• Proven ability to validate simulations with real‑world data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to convey complex information clearly
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn new tools and techniques
• Well‑organised, able to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time
• Engaged and solution‑focused, with a drive to take ownership of complex challenges

Chartered engineer status or working toward Chartership is desirable
