Relevant degree or qualification in Building Studies, risk assessment, or similar
Professional membership with surveying, construction, engineering, fire safety. E.g. IFE, IFSM, AIFireE
Previous experience in similar position
Full UK driving license

Job Responsibility

Carrying out passive fire assessments including external wall performance characteristics using manufacturers literature and test reports
Conducting Fire Risk Appraisals and External wall assessments (EWS1 and FRAEW)
Performing site visits
Ensuring compliance with legislation and UK building standards
Traveling across the UK with overnight stays if required
Managing time efficiently and meeting deadlines
Assisting with fee proposals
Demonstrating commercial awareness
Providing input on CPD
